New St Aubyn St Reserve Playground Plans

Hastings District Council is set to install a new playground at St Aubyn Street Reserve.

This project arose as a result of requests from the community for improvements to the reserves in the Mahora area.

Currently there is no playground nearby for the community to access and both the St Aubyn Street and Tamatea Street Reserves are bare open spaces, lacking any landscaping or other amenities.  The St Aubyn Street Reserve is currently used for football in winter but otherwise the reserves appear to be under-utilised.

Please take this opportunity to have your say about St Aubyn Street Reserve and Tamatea Street Reserve by filling out the survey below.

We want to know how these parks are currently used and how you would like to use them and what your thoughts are on the plans for the new St Aubyn St Reserve playground.

You are also invited to attend one of the Community Open Days between 11:30am and 1pm on Wednesday 8 July, St Aubyn St Reserve or Wednesday 15 July, Tamatea Reserve.
