We’re seeking your views and ideas for how to reduce waste in the Hastings district and Napier city.
Having a plan allows us to prioritise the goals and actions that will help us manage and minimise waste over the next six years.
Hastings District Council and Napier City Council develop a waste plan together because of our close proximity and links. By law, our plan must be updated every six years.
We are asking for your input so our plan reflects our community’s goals and priorities. You will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on the draft plan which will be out for consultation in March 2025.
Share your thoughts now and help shape our 2025-2031 waste plan.
Feedback closes 11.59pm on Sunday 30 June 2024.
