We want to add to our cycle network by creating cycle lanes on Riverslea Road in Hastings. The cycle lanes would be from St Aubyn Street to Copeland Road. 

What do you think is important in the Havelock North Village? Do you want more parks? What about an upgrade on the exisiting Domain? 

Hastings District Council’s wastewater discharge consent expires in March 2014. Since October 2011, we have been working on a programme of consultation and investigation to obtain new consents for our recently upgraded Clive Wastewater Treatment Plant. 

The Havelock North Domain in the Havelock North Village is a place for families to play and friends to gather. We want to ensure the Domain meets the needs of the community now and into the future. 

The Hastings District Plan contains guidance and rules about how you can use and develop your land.

Every 10 years, Hastings District Council and all local authorities in New Zealand are required, by law, to review their District Plan.

We want a District that's safe, healthy and has a strong sense of community. The Sale and Supply of Liquor Act became law in December 2012.  The Act allows territorial authorities to develop Local Alcohol Policies (LAP) which will increase the ability of communities to have a say on local alcohol licensing matters and allow local-level decision making for all licence applications. 

Submissions to the draft Annual Plan 2013/14 have now closed.
